introduction
Washi Paper
和紙
History
1400 years Japanese paper
Washi has been used in Japan for more than 1,400 years, and it has been used for Japanese traditional umbrella, lantern, door and others.
Unlike western paper, which is made from finely ground wood pulp, washi is made by twisting long plant fibers together, making it durable and giving it a unique texture.
Wide Possibility
Customizing to make your
original products
Washi is still used for not only traditional products but also various things around us.
A typical example is washi tape.
Our washi masking tape is popular for its unique texture and for how easy it is to tear. You can also make your original design tape.
